Dear Camp Counselor, I’m exhibiting at the National Stationery Show in a couple of weeks and I’m wondering how many press kits I should bring? – John
Hi John, We recommend bringing 30-40 press kits to your tradeshow and we strongly suggest that you keep more than half with you in your booth. While it is good to have a presence in the press room (it is the media’s first stop at the show!), you really have no way of knowing who is taking your press kits from the press room. By keeping your press kits in your booth, you can personally hand them out, collect business cards and jot notes for follow-up. Another tip: consider putting high and low res images in a dropbox folder and including the links in our press kit or on a separate flier to hand out at the show. Great way to give the media instant access to product photos. Good luck! -Katie Hunt, Kelp Designs + Tradeshow Bootcamp
