Relationships with vendors are just as important as the relationships you form with your buyers and customers.  Working with a new printer?  Go to a press check.  The pressmen will learn how you like things done and they’ll remember it for your future jobs.  Also, don’t be afraid to ask your sales rep questions.  It’s like prom – the worst they can say is no.  And remember, when you’re easy to do business with, your vendors are likely to go the extra mile for you.
